I can’t believe it, Lexie is already six months old and we’ve had her for four months! Where has the time gone!
Now she has her big girl teeth, no more razor sharp puppy teeth.

Look at that big, fluffy butt! Hey, what happened to my beautiful lawn? Lexie!

Sometimes she looks so mature, but she still has some room to grow.

She still loves to play (and chew!)

and she gets upset when nobody will play with her.

In some ways she has changed so much, but I think she still has an adorable “puppy” face.

I had seen some really nice pink camo dog collars that I really liked, but unfortunately they were $30+. I decided to drop Lori @ 3 Dirty Dogs a note to see if she had any pink camo fabric or ribbon for collars. She didn’t, but she found this great fabric and created this custom collar for Lexie.

I love the collar! It looks great on Lexie. Lori liked it so much she’s adding it to her line of collars. So if you would like to order one you can send her an email (address is on her site).

I enjoy visiting the fabric and craft stores and usually see a lot of great fabric that I would love to have on a collar. I asked Lori how much fabric she would need if I wanted to send my own fabric and this is the info she sent.
Basically you can send me whatever you want and I can make a collar out of it. For a large collar I would need a yard of ribbon but for custom orders I normally buy 2 yards just in case I make a mistake. It needs to be 1″ or less in width too. For fabric I need it to be at least 36″ in length and about 3 inches in width to work with. Designs on fabric should be small so the design can actually be seen. I use many types of ribbon but it should not be wire edged or the material used for curling ribbon. I think almost anything else would be ok

Hi all! Lexie here. You’ve got to help me. My human has gone completely mad!
My human has started making me bandannas and what’s worse, she expects me to wear them. It started with one, but now they have multiplied. Here is the first one she made.

Ok, fine…I can live with one costume for Halloween, but two?

How many of you humans wear two costumes on Halloween? I thought not.
She thinks I’m showing you the reverse side of her creation, but really I’m trying to rip it to shreds.

So then she had to make one for dad. The Giants? Everybody knows the A’s are better.

So now she goes to the fabric stores and gets scraps….Scraps? I don’t do scraps! I get my very own bone thank you very much. Scraps.
This is the last straw, cats? I’m a dog dammit!

Look out other labbies, this can happen to you!

We love to visit Newhall Dog Park in Concord. Sometimes I bring my camera and shoot other dogs. Tonight we met Annie, she’s a beautiful mixed breed. Her owner was kind enough to let me shoot her dog amongst the chaos of the doggy park in the evening.
I’m posting all of the photos that I took of Annie so her owner can have them. Annie’s mom, if you would like larger images, please leave a comment below and I will email the originals to you.
