Ladies and gentlemen, we have a retriever!
We took Lexie to a very small beach area in Benicia today. Rob threw a stick in the water and we didn’t really think that she would retrieve it since she wasn’t very into swimming when we went to Tahoe. We were wrong! She dove into the water and went after the stick and got it!
She retrieved about six times and then we decided that was enough for her first time. She’s sixteen weeks today, so we didn’t want to wear her out. She slept the whole way back home, she was one tuckered lab.
