The Lexie Update
I’m sitting on my mom’s lap as this is written. We’re watching American Idol, it’s putting me to sleep. So I bet you all have been wondering how I’m doing on day six of my new life. Ok, maybe not all of you.
Let’s talk about the crate; night one was pretty tough for me, but by night two I was getting used to the safe den mom and dad had picked for me, by night three I only whined for a minute. Last night was my record sleep night; I slept from 11:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. What a grown up puppy I am.
I really love biting everything I can get my sharp, little teeth on. I find mommy’s ankles and feet to be the tastiest. She’s been trying to yelp at me when I nibble at her toes, but it’s not working. She’s getting smart though, she bought some mini pig’s ear strips and a whistle; that whistle gets my attention and I love to chew the pig’s ears…I love them so much that I buried one!
